We are pleased to bring you Jellyfin 12.0, our new stable release. This release continues in the same direction as 10.11: finishing what the database conversion started, turning that new foundation into real performance work, and finally giving books and comics the support they have deserved for years.

We're excited to announce the release of Jellyfin for Android 2.7! This release introduces one of the largest updates to the app so far, with a completely redesigned downloads experience, revamped Android Auto support, major playback improvements, and many bug fixes and quality-of-life enhancements.

From refreshed user interface elements to playback improvements, there are many changes across the board in the latest update of Jellyfin for Android TV.

We are pleased to bring you Jellyfin 10.11.0, our new stable release. This is probably one of, if not the, biggest and most impactful releases we've done yet, with some massive backend changes to improve performance and long-term expandability and maintainability. This release has been a long time coming, with over 6 months of development and another 6 months of RC testing, throwing our planned 6-month release schedule completely out of whack, but we definitely think the results are worth it - both for users right now, and for the long-term health of the project.

That's exactly how I feel attempting to condense all the new features, bug fixes, refreshed UI components, and improvements found in Jellyfin for Roku 3.0.0 into a single blog post.

Jellyfin for iOS is back with the first release in nearly 3 years!

Version 0.18 of our Jellyfin for Android TV app is ready! Exciting features like lyrics and media segments are now available, along with significant improvements to subtitles and more.

We are pleased to announce the latest stable release of Jellyfin, version 10.10.0!

This major release brings several new features, improvements, and bugfixes to improve your Jellyfin experience. With our faster release cadence between 10.9.0 and 10.10.0, this release should be far less daunting, so please read on for a quick peek at what's new and some important-to-know breaking changes!

You may upgrade your Jellyfin instances at any time now. For those who were running Unstable builds for testing, we thank you immensely, and you may now switch back to the Stable repository and forcibly reinstall/repull the latest version. As always, ensure you back up your Jellyfin data and configuration directories before upgrading. With a major release, it's possible you will hit a bug and want to revert, and to do so, you will need to restore from a backup.
